Let’s Help “Fill the Pantry” at BTAC

On Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., in coordination with St. Roberts in an effort to help Burbank families, Fr. Sebastian, invites you to “Fill The Pantry” for Burbank Temporary Aid Center. BTAC needs help in filling their pantry with non-perishable food and personal hygiene items so that they can help our neighbors who are struggling to put food on the table during this pandemic. You can drop off your bags of donated items by simply driving through the donation cone zone that will be set up in the St. Francis Xavier Parish parking lot. Volunteers will remove the bags from your trunk while you stay in your car, maintaining all social distancing.
If you have any questions, if you want to volunteer to help at the parish or if you have a truck and could help take the items down to BTAC Saturday afternoon, please contact Deacon Jim Roope at 323/791-1632. BTAC’s most needed items are: rice, pasta, CANNED meat or fish – again CANNED meat or fish, hearty soups and personal hygiene items. For a complete list of items see BTAC’s website at burbanktemporaryaidcenter.org . If you would like to donate cash or check, please place it in an envelope in the trunk of your car and drive through our donation cone zone. Make checks payable to BTAC. Thank you for your help!
